The Future of Multimedia Journalism at the BBC - Pete Clifton

Pete Clifton is the head of BBC News Interactive and the BBC’s head of editorial development for multimedia journalism. He has been in charge of BBC News Interactive since 18 October 2005 - first as Chief Operating Officer then as controller.

The News Interactive department includes BBC News Online, the BBC News website, CBBC Newsround, the Ceefax teletext service, the digital text service, On This Day, BBC’s Interactive TV, the Action Network and a variety of news services to mobile phones and other mobile devices.

Here he discusses the future of multimedia journalism at the BBC.

Using wireless Sensors in Bomb Disposal Suits - Cogent Computing

The Cogent Computing Applied Research Centre, based at Coventry University, UK, is at the forefront of British research in the field of pervasive sensing. The Centre was established with the aim of becoming the West Midland region's premier facility for research in Pervasive Computing.
