Enterprising Staff at Coventry University

The Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship (IAE) is home to all enterprise and entrepreneurship activities at Coventry University. The Institute offers the region and its students, graduates and staff a broad range of entrepreneurial support and services for every level and stage of business start-up and growth. The vision of the IAE is to become an internationally recognised institute of excellence which promotes an entrepreneurial lifestyle and mindset within the University community and its stakeholders. Getting BBC News Online - Mike Smartt

Mike was the founder and editor-in-chief of BBC News Online, the BBC’s Internet news service. He led the team which launched the service in 1997, and held the post of editor-in-chief of BBC News Interactive until 2004. During this time News Online won all four interactive news BAFTA awards and most of the world’s online news prizes.

The Migration Aware Project - African Studies Centre

Professor Bruce Baker talks about Coventry University's involvement with the Migration Aware project.

Migration Aware is a project funded by the European Union and administered by the United nations development programme that aims to fill the information gap preventing potential irregular migrants in Ibadan, Nigeria from making an informed decision on whether to embark on the migration process based on a sound knowledge and understanding of potential threats to, and exploitation of, the migrant both in transit and in destination countries.
