Philip Oliver is best known as one half of U.K. Spectrum design duo the Oliver Twins. Along with his brother Andrew they produced some of the most popular games for the system and in the 1980s, they launched their own highly popular franchise, the Dizzy series of games. In 1990 they set up their own business, Interactive Studios – now known as Blitz Games.
In this Coventry Conversation, Philip talks about his views on the future of the games industry.

Alex has been responsible as producer/director/writer for three major pieces of recent UK television history: In 1999 he was the series editor of the groundbreaking series Macintyre Undercover; In 2004, Dunkirk told the human stories of the Dunkirk landing in factual drama form; and his latest offering is House of Saddam which was based on 2 years of research.
In this Conversation, Alex comes to Coventry fresh from Los Angeles and London to talk about the latest drama.

Jim White is sports columnist for the Daily Telegraph as well as an author and broadcaster. Jim was a founding member of The Independent in 1986 and worked there for a decade before moving to The Guardian. He won sports columnist of the year during his time there and established himself as one of the most well-respected sports journalists.
Jim now writes for the Daily Telegraph as a regular columnist and arts critic and recently released his eighth book, ‘Manchester United: The Biography’ which is the topic for this Coventry Conversation.
